Festival Producer | Dez Reed June 15 -21, 2009 That was it folks. The 7th Annual Great Plains Comedy Festival is over for another year.. Things kicked off at 6:00 at Beily's on 8th Street with a meet and greet with business and community leaders and the festival comedians. The show was very well attended and was just the beginning. The Women of Comedy/Dez Reed and Kelly Taylor double feature at The Overdrive on the Thursday night was a sell out. This was the largest crowd for the Overdrive in its seven years as a festival venue.
